Formed in Los Angeles in 2008, StarryEYES emerged from the city’s dense rock underground with a sound that balanced heaviness and vulnerability. Often described as a cross between Deftones and Incubus with a hint of Circa Survive, the band carved out its identity through textured guitars, dynamic arrangements, and emotionally charged performances.

From the beginning, StarryEYES was a road-driven band. West Coast tours helped build a dedicated following, supported by local radio airplay in cities up and down the coast. Their live reputation culminated in a milestone headline performance at the iconic Troubadour, documented by Shock BoxTV, marking a high point in the band’s trajectory.

In 2011, StarryEYES recorded their EP Possible Worlds, a release that captured the band at full stride—confident, expansive, and searching. The record reflected both their musical growth and the emotional undercurrent that defined their songwriting during that era.

Festival stages also became an important part of the band’s story, with Summer Jamboree in Bend, Oregon standing out as a favorite and recurring highlight—an experience that embodied the sense of community and freedom the band valued most.

By 2013, life beyond the band began to take precedence. With personal responsibilities growing and the collective unwillingness to reshape the lineup, StarryEYES chose to step away rather than force continuation. The decision marked an end not defined by conflict, but by respect—for family, for each other, and for what the band had already achieved.

Though inactive, StarryEYES remains a meaningful chapter in the lives of its members—a testament to a time when music, movement, and shared purpose defined everything.
